Finding a Mexican Car Insurance in San Diego

A few years ago, I went on a vacation to San Diego with my family. While we were there, we thought it would be fun to cross the border into Mexico since it was such a short drive. We just went over with our rental vehicle without even thinking twice about what we were doing. It was only much later when discussing the trip with some friends that I learned how lucky I was not have gotten into a fender bender in Tijuana — especially since I didn’t have Mexican car insurance in San Diego coverage before crossing over.

Apparently, American rentals are not automatically insured in Mexico, which is why it’s a good idea to purchase a temporary Poway’s Mexican car insurance online policy prior to your vacation. This will grant you full coverage regarding accidents and theft, allowing you to enjoy your trip without having to worry about your vehicle. Moreover, carrying Mexican car insurance will help make any dealings with the police a lot easier. This is particularly important since traffic accidents are considered felonies in Mexico and the cops can keep you in custody until all damages are paid in full.

I don’t know about you, but I’d just as soon stay out of the jails down there! Finding cheap Mexican car insurance for your next vacation is a pretty simple process. There are a number of U.S.-based insurers that can help get you set up in a matter of minutes. You can find these insurers online and visit their websites to review particular policies and compare prices. Once you settle to buy Mexican car insurance in Poway, all you have to do is fill out a couple of online forms, submit payment, and then print out a copy of the agreement.

After that, you just carry your copy of the policy while driving in Mexico so that you can produce it if or when necessary. One important point to keep in mind prior to purchasing a cheap Mexican car insurance around San Diego online is to make sure the company you’re buying it from is authorized to do business south of the border. This is the only way your policy will have any official standing, so this is definitely the first question I would ask of any potential provider.

In addition, I also recommend familiarizing yourself with the provider’s claims and response procedures so you’ll know exactly what to do in the event of an accident. If you’re planning to drive down to Mexico anytime soon, make sure you have a comprehensive Mexican car insurance policy before you go. Not only is it the law, but it can also save you from big financial obligations — or even jail time. That’s not something to mess around with, so go take out a policy right now!

What you need to know about San Diego auto insurance claim. Everyone’s budget is being stressed today, but, like death and taxes, auto insurance is an inevitable expense that you’ve got to squeeze into the budget, sideways if necessary! We all know that auto insurance is high, especially if you’re under 25 or single.

In both of these cases, some San Diego auto insurance claims actuary has determined that the insurance company’s risk is higher than that of insuring a married couple. This does seem discriminatory, but we don’t make the rules. However, the risk of not having insurance on your car is too great. For one thing, if you are stopped for a traffic violation and found to be uninsured, your vehicle can be confiscated and impounded on the spot.

You’d then be faced with a ticket and fine, impound fees and coming up with the money for insurance before you can get your car back. The average auto insurance premium today is about $70 per month. Personally, I haven’t had an accident in about 35 years and the last time I got a ticket was over 19 years ago. I think the last automobile insurance claims in Fallbrook I made was in 1969! Despite this good record, my insurance premium is $68 per month. Doesn’t seem fair. Where did I go wrong?

I don’t drive a fancy sports car. I hate to think what a 24 year old driver who gets in an accident must have to pay to be insured! Back in the day, the average consumer felt that they should get some bang for their buck when it came to auto insurance. For example, I remember my Great Aunt, who had a thing about driving a car that was no older than a couple of years. If she sustained damage to her car in a parking lot, she immediately filed an auto insurance claim, believing that’s what she purchased with her Fallbrook auto insurance claims adjuster.

She would have the auto insurance claims adjuster out to her house in a heartbeat, to restore her car to its original pristine condition. If she had a cracked cover on a rear directional light, she initiated an auto insurance claim. When her insurance premium started creeping up, she had not a clue as to why. What she didn’t know was that her insurance premium was intended only to cover major damage. Minor dents and parking lot variety damage only constituted a liability for her, in the form of higher insurance premiums.

Before you pick up the phone to make auto insurance claims, you need to weigh whether it’s worth filing an auto insurance claim. Auto insurance companies have a very long memory. If your insurance coverage pays for minor damage, you’ve got to balance this off with the potentially astronomical increase you might realize in your insurance premiums.

Sometimes, it’s not worth making the auto insurance claim you are entitled to according to your policy. That $30 repair might raise your premium by $5 a month. Always remember that insurance companies have long memories. The more auto insurance claims you submit, the higher your rate will go. For those minor parking lot encounters, see if you can’t do the repairs yourself.

Any time you can avoid submitting auto insurance claims, your insurance rates tend to remain stable. If the repairs are simple and relatively inexpensive, you’re certainly better off doing the repairs yourself, or hiring a local car body artisan with good references to take care of the blemish. A penny saved in insurance claims is definitely a penny earned!

Insurance Claim Secrets Revealed

Back in March '07, an 18-wheeler knocked the front end of my car off. This was the first accident I have ever been in and didn't have a clue where to begin. The trucking company's insurance company was so rude to me. Probably the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. One morning while dealing with this issue, I heard the dj on the local radio station talking about Russell's book, so I immediately downloaded it when I got to work. It has been a great help to me dealing with this situation. Not only does it talk about vehicle accidents but property damage and more, as well. I would recommend anyone dealing with an insurance company to buy this book. Well worth the knowledge you gain to determine if the insurance company is treating you fairly. Knowledge is Power when dealing with insurance companies.

Insurance. To doubt the fact that it is an absolute "life necessity" would be tantamount to playing with one's very economic existence.

Insurance companies will say "ANYTHING," and make the most compelling and assuring appeals imaginable to obtain your "business." BUT, when the time comes for the insured [you] to submit a claim, hang on! That same insurance company which promised to be there when needed can quickly become, at best, extremely impersonal, disinterested, difficult, bureaucratic and adversarial - nothing like what you expected, or depended on when you signed the contract and activated the policy.

Russell D. Longcore deals with much of this head-on, and in terms that you and I can easily understand. His honest, direct, straight-forward approach to understanding the pitfalls about which to be aware and vigilant for occasions when one finds himself or herself in his/her most vulnerable position - of having to make a claim against the policy for which years of premium payments have been faithfully and promptly paid (and invariably rewarded by punitive premium increases) - is excellent.

It's not a question of "IF" you're going to need to know and understand the facts about which Longcore writes in this book - but "when." Longcore addresses those things which the insurance industry would just as soon you never knew, and certainly won't tell you, until after-the-fact. Based on personal experience, I hope it's not too late for you.

If you're considering the purchase of a new policy, or are about to renew a policy - regardless of the type - READ THIS BOOK FIRST.

INSURANCE CLAIM SECRETS REVEALED, is a book deserving of a FIVE STAR rating, because it will guide you in your thought process, and protect you in ways that you've never suspected, nor imagined. Pass it up at your own peril.
Insurance Claim Secrets Revealed by Russell Longcore

Reviewer: D. Kalinkiewicz,
At the end of Feb. 2008 a tornado went through our neighborhood. Fortunately the damage we sustained was inconvenient damage. We had several trees down, one unfortunately hit the back of our car, and lots of debris, and oh, the top of our neighbor's pine tree was dropped onto our roof. We did what one does, we called our insurance agent to report and started the clean-up. The weekend after the storm I was listening to the radio and heard Russell Longcore being interview by Elyse Glink. I was so impressed, I immediately got on line to his web site and bought the e-book. It downloaded right away and I started to read. We were already doing most of the right things, but after reading the book, we paid closer attention to details. Fortunately our house is back together and we are only out of pocket the amount of our deductible. There is so much information in this book and it's easy to read and understand. No one should be without it.
A must for your reference library

In today's highly litigious society and in an era where insurance companies want to increase premiums or drop long-time customers at the site of a first claim, we need this book. Bravos to Mr. Longcore for his outstanding job of putting together a book that we all may unfortunately find ourselves in need of using.
Gotta claim? Pays for itself, no question

Of course, the average person won't feel compelled to put this on their bookshelf (ourselves included) until they have a claim situation. The smart ones would consider it beforehand, word to the wise.

Should you have a claim, this book helps illustrate the questions you need to be asking your agent, adjuster and yourself -- the answers and the book would help get you going with a plan forward.

Do you still need a lawyer? Do you still need a public adjuster? Maybe, but at least you might feel clearer about the decision you ultimately make in this regard.

You'll definitely get your $30 back, with interest, taking Mssr Longcore's advice.

Would actually rate it 4.5 stars, but would want more examples in the book, if anything, to rate it 5 stars...
Also, we have one actual complaint - there are multiple references in the book to a website maintained by the author - and ALL THE LINKS ARE DEAD. hUh?
